I am passionate about helping people to discover their way to find peace amidst the turmoil of life and I do so through my teaching and healing. This more than any time before in our lives we need to find a way to do this, we need to find our Bliss.
I first came to my Yoga mat many years ago having experienced anxiety disorder. This was brought on from the sudden passing of my beloved mother and the huge amount of stress I found myself under on a daily basis.
I was overworked and felt depleted from the pressure of raising three small children, managing my own mental & physical health concerns whilst also holding down a job.
A crazy balancing act which led to my feeling completely depleted & overwhelmed.
I found in my practice what I had been desperately seeking, the tools to help me cope with the many challenges I faced in my life.
The Bhagavad Gita eloquently describes Yoga as the journey of the self, through the self, to the self and this experience started me on my journey of re-discovering my authentic self, the part of me I had sadly strayed far from many years before.
This took me down many paths of learning Yoga, Reiki Healing, Spiritual and Psychological Enquiry. The more I learned the more I realised how little I actually knew!
Once you begin this journey you come to understand that our path here in this physical world is one of continual learning and healing.
So with every course I take, every book I read or class I attend I realise how much there is to discover about ourselves.
What makes us who we are, what influences how we see the world and how all of that effects our interactions, our behaviours and ultimately creates the life we are living.
I discovered how learning to love myself, forgive myself and realising my worth was essential to find my peace, for me to reconnect to my higher self, my inner being, my Bliss.
Love and compassion are necessary for harmony within. Our bodies store the vital information needed to unlock our understanding of who we are and how to connect with our true self.
Yoga and Reiki have inspired me to become the best version of me that I can be. I continue to learn, to grow, to share my learning, my practice and my light with those who too desire to reconnect with their higher self.
Patanjali,the great Yogic sage tells us that when you are inspired dormant forces, faculties, and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.
My ambition is to bring Yoga and Reiki to those who suffer in this life and struggle to find balance ~ just like I did.
I offer a safe space that allows the people who join me to make a connection to the part of them where true joy, harmony and balance resides... to find their Bliss.
I will teach you to use your breath as a bridge to journey from the noise of the mind to stillness in your body... to peace in your soul... to the now... to the present... to be...
