Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.
It is believed that the right side of our body is governed by the Yang energy of the Sun (Ha), making this the more active, intellectual and at times controlling side of ourselves.
The left side is influenced by the Yin Moon (tha) energy and this side is calm, peaceful and creative.

When we practice Yoga we bring balance to these two sides of ourselves. Yoga triggers our rest and digest response, our parasympathetic nervous system which gives our body the signals it needs to relax and unwind. To release tension, tightness & stress.
It is in this relaxation state of being that our body and mind can heal.
In my classes you will be given the space to experience balance between these two Yin Yang energies. You will find harmony, experience a sense of balance and leave with peace of
Mind, Body and Soul.
I teach an eclectic mix of Yoga styles, with mindfulness and meditation.
I am a British Wheel of Yoga trained Hatha teacher, a Yin Yoga teacher and a Reiki Master teacher, I share my learning and experiences from my own Yoga and healing journey.
I create opportunity for you to use your breath as a tool to move away from your thinking mind and find sanctuary in being present in your body.
My teaching is gentle & healing with a keen focus on breath and meditation.
We use the breath as a bridge to take us from Mind to Body to Soul.
